Welcome to notes from the trail

Twice a month, I will share a story or a lesson about leadership. Some will come from my own experiences, situations I have lived or watched unfold from the sideline. Some will come from books I am reading or moments in the news that carry a leadership lesson worth pulling out. This is where I think out loud, sometimes as a participant and sometimes as an outsider looking in.

One thing you should know before you read. The people in these stories will stay confidential. Names, schools, and details will be changed or left out, because the lesson matters more than the identity of the person who taught it to me. The stories are real. The lessons are real. Only the names have been adjusted.
